National Library Week 2020

This week, the Stevens County Library invites all community members to find the library at their place by visiting the website www.stevenscountylibrary.com to access virtual services and resources. 2019 Recipe Swap

The 2019 Recipe Swap is open for entries! Drop off your recipe or email it to recipes@stevenscountylibrary.com by December 2nd. Then make your recipe and bring it to the Library on December 12th at 11:30 a.m. to join in the food, fun, and festivities. All who have entered recipes will get a complimentary recipe book, and get to eat for free!

Kansas Reads to Preschoolers 2019

Stevens County Library to Participate in Kansas Reads to Preschoolers 2019 A statewide initiative encouraging early childhood literacy The State Library’s one-book/one-state reading initiative, Kansas Reads to Preschoolers, highlights the importance of reading to children with a goal that every Kansas child from birth to age five is read to during the week of November 10-16.  One age-appropriate book is selected for storytime in libraries, preschools, childcare centers and homes throughout Kansas.
