CLOSED

The Stevens County Library will close at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 and remain closed until further notice. All meetings scheduled for the meeting room are cancelled through May 9th. Patrons may leave a message at 620.544.2301 or contact library staff via our Facebook page seven days a week at https://www.facebook.com/StevensCountyLibrary/.

In making the announcement, Library Director Eunice Schroeder said, “Based on recommendations from the KDHE, and because our number one priority is protecting the health of the library staff and the public, the most effective way to achieve that at this time is to close the library.”

After a Zoom meeting with the Stevens County Library Board, it was determined that the library will be closed effective today, March 27, 2020, until further notice. The book drop will remain open, but we will no longer be offering checkouts, curbside pickup, or faxes.

Please take advantage of our online resources found at www.stevenscountylibrary.com. Library staff will remain available through our library Facebook page and staff emails if you have any questions about logging in to online resources.

Miss Stacey will continue to offer Online Storytime in the group https://www.facebook.com/groups/233924907072918/ on Wednesday mornings. You can contact her at youthservices@stevenscountylibrary.com.
