Read Kansas Read

Attention Young Readers!

Governor Sam Brownback wants to help you improve your reading skills, so he has created a program, Read Kansas Read,  that will help keep you reading all summer.

Participation is free and easy — all you need to do is read as many books as you can, keep a log of the books you’ve read and send it—no later than August 1, 2012 —  to:

Attn: Read Kansas Read
Statehouse, Ste. 264-W
300 SW 10th Street
Topeka, KS  66612

You may use your Stevens County Library Summer Reading Program reading logs to enter the Read Kansas Read program!

At the end of the summer, 20 students and their families will be selected to join the Governor and his wife, First Lady Mary Brownback, for a picnic at the Governor’s Mansion in Topeka.
